TIMELINE
1. APPLICATION
April 18 to May 28, 2023
You can apply to any of the programs using the forms available on our web.
2. EVALUATION
May 28 to July 4, 2023
After the application deadline, the evaluation committee made up of partners and support staff will review all the applications and then inform the startups that have been shortlisted.
3. SELECTION DAYS
July 5 and 6, 2023
The shortlisted startups will make their pitch to the Cuatrecasas ACELERA selection committee. After evaluating the presentations, the committee will select (July, 31) the six startups for the accelerator program.
4. LET’S START
September 12, 2023
A bootcamp will kick off the program in September. The startups in the accelerator program will meet their legal and business mentors, receive legal and business training, and run investment simulations.
5. DEMO DAY!
January 30, 2024
After several months of intense work and progress, the startups will participate in a closing event with investors, clients and players from the startup ecosystem. This is not a goodbye but the beginning of a long relationship with Cuatrecasas.
RECOGNIZED RIGHTS OF CUATRECASAS
RIGHT OF PREFERENTIAL ACCESS AND TESTING
The selected projects will grant Cuatrecasas a right of preferential Access and testing for each of the Company’s services and products with the objective of assessing them and, where applicable, using them.
RIGHT TO INFORMATION AND TRACKING OF THE PROJECT
To monitor the project and ensure that full advantage is taken, Cuatrecasas must be informed of the project’s progress.
RIGHT TO FIRST REFUSAL OR PRE-EMPATIVE SUBSCRPTION
The selected projects will grant Catrecasas a right to take part in any financing rounds for the projects that are held after course of the accelerator program (up to 10% of share capital).
RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN REVENUE
Cuatrecasas will have a right to participate in companies’ revenue if Cuatrecasas introduced the companies to the client contract.
