CUATRECASAS ACELERA SELECTION PRIVACY POLICY
We inform you that the personal data provided by the applicant (the “Applicant” or “Applicants”), any updates to it, and any data Applicants provide to participate in the Cuatrecasas ACELERA program (the “Program”), will be processed for these purposes by Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira S.L.P. (“Cuatrecasas”), with registered office at Avenida Diagonal 191, 08018 Barcelona, Spain, whose data protection officer can be contacted at data.protection.officer@cuatrecasas.com. The processing of this data is governed by this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”).
The data will be collected and processed to analyze the Applicants’ skills, generate a profile, and assess the Applicants’ candidacy for the Program Cuatrecasas provides when the application is made and in future selection processes, for as long as Cuatrecasas keeps the data. Once this period has ended, if the Applicant is not selected to participate, Cuatrecasas will delete the data. If the Applicant is selected, the firm will include the data in the data set that will be processed to establish a contractual relationship, and the data will be governed by the clauses in the agreement entered into with Cuatrecasas.
With your permission, we will use the data to regularly inform you in writing and electronically about news or the activities Cuatrecasas organizes, particularly those related to Cuatrecasas Acelera that may interest you and are related to the Program. This information will be tailored to your specific profile. When personal data is not required for the purpose for which it was obtained and until it is deleted, it will be retained, but blocked.
Legal basis for data processing:
(i) The application for admission establishing the relationship between the Applicant and Cuatrecasas. Processing the Applicant’s personal data for this purpose is necessary to admit the submission.
(ii) The Applicant freely provides the personal data required to be informed about news or the activities Cuatrecasas organizes. The legal basis for this processing is the consent provided.
If the Applicant provides the personal data of third parties, the Applicant must have previously informed them of its inclusion and of the contents of this Privacy Policy, and will be personally liable to Cuatrecasas for any harm and loss caused in the event of breach.
Cuatrecasas will not transfer the data to third parties unless strictly necessary to manage your candidacy and, if applicable, maintain the relationship with Cuatrecasas. Only those third parties to whom Cuatrecasas is contractually or legally bound will have access to personal data. As Cuatrecasas is an international law firm, your data may be transferred for the above purposes to the other group companies. Please see an updated list of these on www.cuatrecasas.com.
In all cases, your personal data will be processed with a level of protection commensurate with applicable standards on data protection and will not be subject to automated decisions.
Under current law, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification or deletion of data, request that processing be restricted, oppose it or request data portability as well as withdraw your consent, by writing to data.protection.officer@cuatrecasas.com, clearly indicating the right you wish to exercise, giving your name and surname, and attaching a copy of your national identification document or other similar document proving your identity. You may also file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
The Applicant agrees to notify Cuatrecasas of any change to the personal data provided. Any harm and loss caused to Cuatrecasas or any third parties due to the communication of erroneous, imprecise or incomplete information is the sole and exclusive liability of the interested party.
